Mother's Day Fall Flat?

.

Hi Reader,

I hope your week is going well!

I hope your Mother's Day went well and that you were spoiled by your kids!!

If not, know that you're not alone. Year after year, I've heard from other moms that their Mother's Day was a disappointment...which led me to write the blog post below.

I know that disappointment is common based on how many people find and read this particular blog post in May around Mother's Day in the U.S. and in March for Mother's Day in the UK.

My Mother's Day was fine, because I set clear expectations, made time for myself to recharge, and also spent time with the family. Granted, this Mother's Day was really hard since my mom just died a few weeks ago, so there were a lot of tears.

You're not alone...

I hope that if your Mother's Day wasn't what you had hoped, this blog post at least helps you feel less alone.

Hope you have a good week!

Prefer to shop on Etsy since you already have an account there? You can still use Newsletter20 for an extra 20% off everything in my shop!

I'm also on Teachers Pay Teachers! Unfortunately, they don't have universal coupon codes (yet!), and only allow things related to teaching, but a LOT of my products are over there if you'd prefer to shop on TPT.

. Hi Reader, I hope your week is going well so far! Road trip season appears to be in full swing from what I can see in a lot of the parenting Facebook groups I'm part of, so I thought I'd share my road trip resources in case you have one coming up! I go more into it in the first blog post below, but for longer trips, we have our kids listen to kid-friendly podcasts that not only help them stay occupied and less distracting to us from the back seat, but also teach them things they're...

. Hi Reader, I hope your week is going well so far! Typically, for Prime Day(s), I would spend 8+ hours updating my 9 Prime Day posts the first day, then several hours on subsequent days, and email you about it. But honestly?!..that's never panned out for me. I do all the work, but the return on investment/ROI just isn't there, so I'm doing something different this year. Though I am excited that a few things I really like are on sale, including our favorite adjustable basketball hoop you can...
