More Summer Adventures: Fishing & Writing Practice

.

Hi Reader,

I hope your week is going well so far!

Expanding on the topic of summer fun and adventures, this week I'm sharing my fishing blog post about everything you need for fishing with kids AND a new camping and outdoor journal I just made!

I've been going fishing since I was a little girl (I share pics in the post) and I taught my boys how to fish at a young age as well. It's fun to take them to a dock where there are so many sunfish they constantly catch them! We always put them back but that's just us because we don't want to deal with cleaning the fish!

Fishing with Kids

Do you want to go fishing with your kids but aren’t sure what you need? I’ve been fishing for decades and this is what I use for my kids and myself. Within this blog post, you’ll find tips for fishing with kids, choosing the right gear, and keeping them engaged!

New Printable!

The Camping and Outdoor Journal for Kids will help your child keep their writing skills sharp while writing about their fun summer adventures!

30 pages of unique writing prompts for the outdoors/nature/camping and 30 lined pages for more room to write after each prompt.

Fun camping and outdoor graphics to enhance the writing experience.

Easy Ways to Prevent Summer Learning Loss / Summer Slide with FREE activities

. Hi Reader, I don't know about you but I'm still trying to figure out what summer looks like for us. Today I had a discussion with my kids, 6yo twins and 9yo, about what they'd like to do this summer. They want to be sure to have iPad time (of course 🙄) and time to play outside. We'll also pepper in going to the local beaches (yay Minnesota lakes!), library events, and some online learning resources they have through school. Though honestly, right now, they want nothing to do with school so...
