How to Save Money on Groceries

.

Hi Reader,

I hope you're doing well.

It's a busy time of year for a lot of us, with it being back-to-school season!

We also have the busyness of our twins' birthday tomorrow! I can't believe they're already going to be 8. It's been a wild ride so far, and with our first trip to urgent care, in which one twin needed 3 stitches over the summer, it's only getting wilder! I do feel lucky that it took 10 years of parenting 3 boys before we ended up in urgent care needing stitches!

All that aside, I realize times are getting more and more difficult for many families, especially in terms of finances. For that reason, I'm going to be sharing some posts from my second blog, Easy Family Budgeting, in the coming weeks, in hopes it helps in these difficult times.

These posts used to live on my main blog, The Way it Really Is, but a couple of years ago I decided to see if they'd rank better over on a new blog...spoiler alert, they didn't. However, it's a lot of work to bring them back so...here we are.

Prefer to shop on Etsy since you already have an account there? You can still use Newsletter20 for an extra 20% off everything in my shop!

I'm also on Teachers Pay Teachers! Unfortunately, they don't have universal coupon codes (yet!), and only allow things related to teaching, but a LOT of my products are over there if you'd prefer to shop on TPT.

. Hi Reader, I hope you're doing well. Our kids are back to school today, though we do online school, so it's not the same as what most people go through. Like every year, we are dealing with tech issues with the platform that are frustrating and out of my control, but hopefully they'll be ironed out soon... How has back to school been going for your kids? How about for you as their parent? Here are some blog posts that might be helpful at the beginning of the school year: Preschool Workbooks...

I realize that for some of you, your kids may already be back in school if they're school age. I hope it's going well if they are. Our kids don't start online school until the first week in September, so we still have a bit of time left. There are things we need to get set up before then, prepping for...

. Hi Reader, I hope your week is going well so far! Sorry I didn't email last week and am a bit late today. I'm guessing no one keeps track, but I wanted to apologize anyway. Last week, one of my twins ended up in Urgent Care on Monday Morning due to a big, deep owie that needed 3 stitches. I'll spare you the details and photos, but it was rough and meant he couldn't finish week 2 of swimming lessons last week with his brothers, which derailed some plans. Luckily, he's healing well and will...
