Summer Cleaning Freebie

.

Hi Reader,

Are you having a hard time getting on track today after the long weekend?

I sure am!

It's the last week of school for my kids, and they have a pretty light and different schedule for their online school this week, which keeps changing. I'm trying to catch up with all the emails (personal and business) from over the weekend and figure out what I'm doing again. lol

I'm guessing many are in a similar situation today, just trying to catch up and get into this short week!

Summer Cleaning

While enjoying the nice weather yesterday, I decided to clean up our garage a bit, especially since it was hard for our kids to get to their new big kid bikes. Granted, the twins are still working on learning how to ride without training wheels...

I swept and rearranged things in the garage and listed some things on Facebook Marketplace that we no longer need. It's so nice to get rid of things!

Though honestly, my kids usually stand in the way of me doing that.

We have some beat-up toys that we got from neighbors who were moving years ago, which had been played with outdoors, I think, so we keep them in the garage. My kids have never really played with them, yet won't let us get rid of them...it's been a few years...they take up a lot of space and my husband is trying to convince me to do it without them knowing but I so hate doing that!

Do you ever do that with kids toys? Just make them disappear?

I haven't thus far but I'm telling myself this is different since they haven't really played with them but...we'll see...It would be nice to clear up that space.

. Hi Reader, Happy End of the School Year, or at least close to it, right? My kids were officially done last week but rain and wildfire smoke here in Minnesota is keeping us indoors for the time being. We hope to have reprieve tomorrow for our eldest's 9th birthday and maybe even go to the beach for a bit before his weekly Lego club on Outschool. If you're looking for a way to help your kids continue their education into the summer or just to keep them busy and connecting with other kids,...

. Hi Reader, I hope your week is going well! It's been a windy rainy one here in Minnesota which is good, we need the rain. I hope you're doing well and weren't hit by any severe storms in the past week. I've been working on a lot more twin-focused blog posts to help Google rank me higher but most of the posts are great for non-twin families as well. Such as, when to transition from a toddler bed to a twin bed for twins...this transition is mainly the same for just one child, so I hope you...
