I finally did it and it paid off!

Hi Reader,

How are you doing today?

Today I have a story of not giving up and trying something new even when unsure about it.

I've had a goal of getting into the Amazon Influencer program for a while now which requires quite the social media following and interaction. I've been wanting to accomplish this for MONTHS and have been posting on Facebook and Instagram a few times a day but still didn't qualify for the program.

I heard from another blogger that using TikTok and using a certain formula of posting has gotten others into the program.

I didn't even have a TikTok account, partially because I didn't want to get sucked into all the videos and the more recent back and forth of whether it'd be banned in the US.

Finally though, I did it. I created an account, starting posting videos of my twins when they were babies, and I am still amazed at the results!

Within 4 days of posting 3 videos a day, I accomplished my goal of getting into the Amazon Influencer program!!! ๐Ÿฅณ

I started last Monday so it's been just over a week now and it's crazy to see the growth! One of my videos has almost 100K views, I have 93 followers, and 4884 likes. It's crazy!

The Amazon Influencer program opens some doors to me that had previously been closed so this is pretty exciting. More than that, I just love having goals and actually accomplishing them!

If you'd like to see short videos of my twins and older singleton when they were babies and toddlers, head on over to my TikTok here.

I don't know if I'll be posting long term, I really just wanted to reach that goal, but we'll see. Kinda neat to see something I do on social media actually take off.

In terms of my worry of getting sucked into watching videos? I've done a surprisingly good job of just posting and not consuming content much, so that's been good so far.

All that to say, if you have a goal, you may need to do something a little out of your comfort zone to attain it but it might be worth a try!

Have a great day!
