Easy Way to Save $6,000+ a Year

.

Hi Reader,

I hope you're doing well.

The blog post I'm sharing today is one that is near and dear to my heart.

We're often told that we're never good enough, that we need things such as makeup, hair dye, Botox, sometimes even surgery, to make someone love us, or continue to love us as we age.

I'm here to tell you, this is crap, to put it lightly.

A HUGE way that we save money every month is NOT buying into all of this.

In 2024, the average person spent $6,000-9,000 a year on beauty products between the ages of 20-50.

I'm 40, and I haven't worn make-up since I was 29, when health issues led me to stop. I'm glad I did. Looking at pics of me then and now, I haven't aged, other than a few grey hairs. I also don't use any anti-aging creams, hair dye to cover my greys, etc.

I don't judge anyone who does use those things; if they make you feel good, then go for it. You do you. But doing these things only because we're constantly sold low self-esteem...please, give yourself permission to stop.

Before anyone asks how my husband feels about my natural aging, he is glad I don't spend money on all of this because he feels I don't need it. And I believe him. We're still as in love as when we met 15 years ago, despite my aging naturally.

The blog post below goes more into it and shares some research, including the link to the statistic above, as well.

Easy Way to Save Money: Realize You're Naturally Beautiful

There are so many ways to save money but one of my biggest is to realize that you’re naturally beautiful and you don’t need all the anti-aging creams and make up that society tells you to buy.

Have a great week!

Prefer to shop on Etsy since you already have an account there? You can still use Newsletter20 for an extra 20% off everything in my shop!

I'm also on Teachers Pay Teachers! Unfortunately, they don't have universal coupon codes (yet!), and only allow things related to teaching, but a LOT of my products are over there if you'd prefer to shop on TPT.
